This policy describes which personal data we process when you visit this website, for what purpose and on what basis. Server logs
When you open the website, your device transmits technical details that our hosting service (Vercel Inc.) logs: IP address, time, address requested, browser and operating-system details. These logs serve operation and security and are deleted after a short time.
Contact form
What you enter in the contact form – name, e-mail address, telephone number and your message – we store in our editorial system and send as an e-mail to info@piya.ch. We use Resend (Resend Inc., USA) for dispatch. We use these details solely to answer your enquiry.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your first and last name and your e-mail address until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time, informally, to info@piya.ch.
Cookies and audience measurement
We set technically necessary cookies without consent; the website does not work without them. Everything else – Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Ads, embedded through Google Tag Manager – we load only once you agree in the banner. Until then nothing is transmitted to Google. We store your decision locally in your browser. You can change or withdraw it at any time via the «Cookie settings» link in the footer of every page. Withdrawal takes effect immediately: Google services are no longer loaded and the map in the footer is blocked again. The provider is Google Ireland Limited.
Map in the footer
We show our location on an embedded Google Maps map. Loading the map reveals your IP address to Google, which is why we do not load it by default. It appears only once you have agreed in the banner or have clicked «Load map» in the placeholder. That click applies to the current visit only and is not stored.
Disclosure abroad
The services named may process data outside Switzerland, in particular in the USA and the EEA. We choose providers that contractually guarantee an adequate level of protection.
Your rights
You have the right to information about the personal data we process about you and to have it corrected or deleted. Please contact info@piya.ch. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and, where applicable, the GDPR.
